Nov 25, 2014: CREDAI Conclave themed “Clean India- Skilled India-Strong India” concluded today with thereal estate sector on a new high, with the positive response from the various Ministers including Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon’ble Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Parliament Affairs, Shri. Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Minister for Labour and Emloyment, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon’ble Minister for Skill Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister for Environment and Forests, Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy, Shri Ram Kripal Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation & Shri P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Hon’ble Minister for Civil Aviation apart from others who attended the conclave.

Speaking about the CONCLAVE Mr. C Shekar Reddy, National President CREDAI said, “This was one of the most successful CREDAI Conclave where all theministers have expressed their industry friendly, pro development stands and assured of more transparent and simplified policies. The ministers have reaffirmed that infrastructure & housing are the growth drivers for the country’s economy with a potential to generate large scale employment and will be treated with the due importance. Mr Venkaiah Naidu Ji has announced that very soon Interest Subvention Scheme would be announced to help the middle & lower income group. He has also assured to take concrete steps towards simplified approval process for the real estate sector.

The labour ministry empathized with our concern for labour shortage in working towards the mission Housing for all by 2022 & the need to provide the benefits to the labour in the real estate sector & providing training to enhance productivity. The Minister was forthcoming & appreciated the CREDAI’s efforts for skill development on site training programme called Kushal at CREDAI Pune, which we plan to extend to other areas of the Country. He also assured to look into our demands of extending the benefit to the labour in the real estate sector at par with the other industries, which would be a major fillup for us and help bridge the manpower shortage in the industry.”

He further added that “The Minister of Environment has been very forth coming with our demand & assured simplification of process for approval for the RE projects. The minister has asked our suggestions to improve the ministries role in facilitating business keeping the environment requirements in mind and assured us of major announcement from his ministry in next 15 days. The minister of civil aviation has also assured to consider our requirements to hasten the approval process. The delegates were enlightened on number of issues and shared a lot of good practices followed across the chapters. We are very hopeful that under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi the real estate sector will get the right support and policy intervention leading to rapid growth and job creation.
