In the world of dentistry, implants are a viable and valuable way to replace lost teeth. Not only does replacing a lost tooth help maintain the overall health and function of the surrounding teeth, but replacement also helps to prevent loss of bone and the attending loss of facial contour. To educate dental professionals about implants, Mumbai dentist Dr. Yazad R. Gandhi has developed a series of seminars to provide in-depth education about implantology with all the inter-specialty crossovers required for implant surgical and prosthetic procedures. To facilitate the seminars, Dr. Gandhi has launched Implant Vision Continuum and a new website.

Implant Vision Continuum offers four three-day seminars related to implantology. Topics include Foundation Implant Surgery Continuum, Foundation Implant Prosthetics Continuum, Contemporary Hard & Soft Tissue Procedures, and Advanced Surgical Continuum. Each seminar is geared for the dental professional—from the novice to the advanced level. About the seminars, one participant writes, “IVC was an amazing learning experience for me. The seminar instructor, Dr. Yazad R. Gandhi, attended dental school at King George’s Medical College where he graduated with honors. He completed his Master of Dental Surgery in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the same institute. In 2000, he attended the Royal College of Surgeons in London, after which he set up a practice dedicated to implant-related surgical and prosthetic rehabilitation. Dr. Gandhi has conducted numerous CDE programs and workshops on implant surgery and prosthetics and has mentored the BioHorizons and Nobel Biocare implant training programs.

Dr. Gandhi is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a member of the International Team for Implantology, Switzerland; the American Dental Association; and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India. Dr. Gandhi maintains a private dental practice dedicated to implant rehabilitation and is a consultant at a multispecialty hospital in Mumbai.
