Soyabean is a very healthy ingredient, and this pulav recipe is a great way to encourage your little one to have something filling, nutritious and yummy. Serve with chutney, kababs or curries.

Ingredients
Serves: 2
1 cup soya chunks
4 cups water
3 tablespoons soybean oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon green chili paste

2 chopped onions
1 teaspoon haldi (turmeric powder)
2 teaspoons garam masala
3 cups basmati rice
salt as needed

Directions

Soak soya chunks in water for 10 minutes, or until the chunks get soft.
Pour oil in a pressure cooker and heat it. Add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic and green chili pastes, onion slices, haldi and garam masala powders. Stir and mix all ingredients together.
Then add soys chunks and mix properly.
Now add the rice and 4 cups of water. Sprinkle salt, and cook for 15 minutes until the water dries up and rice becomes soft and boiled.
